Hot yoga

So my newest venture has been taking up hot yoga. Its a session of Bikram Yoga, which comprises of 26+ moves performed in a room heated to around 39 degrees. This obviously causes you to sweat a lot, releasing toxins and it may aid weight loss. To some people it sounds like their absolute worst nightmare but I actually really like the heat so quite enjoy it.
There are different lengths of session, usually either 60, 75 or 90 mins. The first session is pretty daunting, but you do get used to the heat and it does get so much easier and enjoyable. I always feel so refreshed and calm afterwards and its something different to the usual gym/jogging type exercise.
Depending on where you are, prices vary but most places usually do discounted rates for students or deals where you get a certain amount of sessions so its always worth asking.

I aim to practise hot yoga about twice a week, but I find practising sun salutation most mornings really helps to release any tension and energise my body for the day. Sun salutation is a series of continuous movements combined with breathing, which helps to improve strength and flexibility of muscles.

12 moves of sun salutation. Definitely recommend giving it a go!
